The Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis program begins the 2013 spring season ranked in the first Campbell’s/ITA National Rankings released on Thursday by the ITA. Two individuals were also recognized in both the National and Mountain Regional Rankings.

The University of Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis team had the honor of sending the doubles team of Popovici and Synkova to Nationals in New York. The Cowgirls have made many improvements over the past few seasons and are now seeing the outcome of their hard work and dedication.

The weekend of Saturday the 8th brought bad news to The University of Wyoming football team but two other UW athletics teams had outstanding results. The Cowgirl Volleyball Team pulled off an incredible upset against nationally ranked #23 Colorado State University. The other team who came out on top last weekend with stellar performances by each player was the University of Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis
