As conference realignment continues across college athletics, sources have told ESPN the Boise State, San Diego State and BYU had been talking with the Mountain West about possibly returning to the conference. BYU is now independent in football while Boise State and San Diego State are slated to join the Big East in football next season. However, the Mountain West is now part of the "group of five" conferences that will send their highest rated team to a BCS bowl, making these schools reconsider their decision to ditch the conference.

Whatever the reason, many Laramie residents end up working on Thanksgiving, and we want to know if you are one of them.

A petition has been started to ask the Federal Government to allow Wyoming to "withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government."

In two weeks, War Memorial Stadium will host the five Wyoming High School Football State Championship games for a fourth consecutive year. Ten teams from around Wyoming will converge on the Gem City to see if they can earn bragging rights for their school and if all that hard work culminates in a title.

We have already had our first little bit of snow, which is a clear indicator that cold weather will quickly be upon us.
