The Wyoming Economic Analysis Division released a “JUST THE FACTS” report detailing the most recent data collected on the people that live in the Cowboy State.
According to U.S. Census figures released on Thursday (August 12th), Wyoming remains the least populated state in the country. Not only that, but aside from just a few others, it was also one of the slowest growing states in population overall from 2010 to 2020.
The population data in Wyoming for 2019 has been released for cities and towns. Cheyenne's population grew by 0.6 percent while the state had an overall 0.2 percent increase, which comes after three consecutive years of state population decline.
