A trial date has not been set for former Casper doctor Shakeel Kahn and other defendants in the federal multi-state prescription drug conspiracy.

Wyoming U.S. District Court sealed the entire case until the defendants have heard the new charges against them in their initial appearances.

The sentencing hearing for the first of the 10 defendants is scheduled for Wednesday.

The three remaining defendants have change-of-plea hearings set in the next few weeks.

The judge also noted Nabeel Khan's weak ties to the United States and even weaker ties to Wyoming that could pose a flight risk.

Nabeel Aziz "Sonny" Khan lived near Shakeel Kahn's residence in Fort Mohave, Ariz.

Dr. Shakeel Kahn, Lyn Kahn and Paul Beland were charged with multiple drug and drug conspiracy charges.

Martinez allegedly arrived at that location and was greeted by detectives.
