The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team (12-7 overall, 2-3 MW) remained unbeaten at home as they defeated the Boise State Broncos (8-8 overall, 2-4 MW) in three sets (25-17, 25-20, 26-24), on Thursday night in Laramie.
Behind 15 kills from senior Reese Plante, the Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team (11-7 overall, 1-3 MW) earned their first conference win of the season. They defeated the Nevada Wolf Pack (2-14 overall, 0-4 MW) in a three-set sweep (25-22, 25-15, 25-23) on Saturday afternoon in Reno.
The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team (10-7 overall) closed out the non-conference season with two big wins on Tuesday night in Laramie. They opened up the night with a thrilling win over Pac-12 foe Colorado Buffaloes (9-3 overall) in five sets (25-21, 26-24, 14-25, 13-25, 15-11) followed by a three set victory (25-19, 25-22, 25-13) against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets (5-8 overall).
After spending the entire month of September on the road, the Wyoming volleyball team returns to the UniWyo Sports Complex for a doubleheader with Colorado and Black Hills State on Tuesday evening. The Cowgirls will open up the twin-bill against regional rival Colorado at 5 p.m. MT., the first meeting between the schools since 1999. Wyoming will end the night against Black Hills State at 8 p.m. MT., the first meeting with the Yellow Jackets in UW volleyball history.
The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team (8-6 overall, 0-2 MW) returned to conference play on Thursday night and suffered a three-set loss (14-25, 16-25, 14-25) to the New Mexico Lobos (11-1 overall, 2-0 MW).
The Wyoming Cowgirls volleyball team (7-3 overall) continues its long road swing this week heading to rival Colorado State (8-0 overall) on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. MT, to open Mountain West play. UW will then head to Colorado Springs, Colo., to take part in the Air Force Invitational on Friday, as the Cowgirls will face UC Riverside (1-8 overall) at 10 a.m. MT, followed by a meeting with Utah Valley (2-8 overall) in the night cap at 8 p.m. MT.
The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team (7-3 overall) finished up the Hoosier Classic by earning a split on the day. They defeated the Tennessee State Tigers in four sets (25-21, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19) in their final match of the day but lost to the UAB Blazers in a five setter (25-23, 17-25, 25-16, 25-27, 13-15) on Saturday in Bloomington. Senior middle blocker Reese Plante was selected to the All-Tournament team.
The Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Team (6-1 overall) closed out the James Madison Classic by earning a split on the day. They would defeat the Presbyterian Blue Hose (1-6 overall) in three sets (25-13, 25-19, 27-25) in the first match of the day before falling to the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners (5-2 overall) in four sets (23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 16-25) on Saturday night. Seniors Reese Plante and Becky Stewart were each named to the All-Tournament Team.
