A 66-year-old Wyoming man is dead after hydroplaning into oncoming traffic and being T-boned by a semi, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.

Snow combined with winds gusting as high as 60 mph will make travel very difficult to impossible across parts of southeast Wyoming tonight, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.

A 56-year-old California man is dead after rolling his car in south-central Wyoming's Carbon County.

The national weather service is warning that a potent winter storm could bring significant snowfall and strong winds to much of the southeastern portion of the state Friday night through early Saturday morning.
