The district on Friday reported that 59 students and seven staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week, two more cases than the previous week.

Due to privacy laws, we cannot release the identities of students or staff members.

Boyd Brown says he plans to resign effective at the end of June.

The federal Department of Justice will facilitate a meeting on May 23 on bullying and harassment in the district.

The statement says, among other things, that staff are on alert and district buildings are operating with a single point of access.
