As Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's loom ahead, worries about high prices caused by inflation are facing many people.

Wyoming had an annual inflation rate of 10.1% in the second quarter of this year, the highest since 1981, according to a report by the Economic Analysis Division.

Investors had been hoping for a signal from Powell that the Fed might soon moderate its rate increases later this year.
