High Bay Research Facility

Engineering News-Record Mountain States announced earlier this month that the High Bay facility was selected to be honored as part of its 17th year of the ENR Mountain States project awards.

State leaders and University of Wyoming officials joined Laramie residents today to celebrate the grand opening of the High Bay Research Facility .

The University of Wyoming broke ground today on the $53.5 million High Bay Research Facility, a novel, state-of-the-art facility with flexible laboratory space that will allow UW’s energy programs to achieve distinction in areas of strategic importance to Wyoming and the nation.

The University of Wyoming has received nearly five million dollars from Hess Corporation to support research at the university.
