Google announced on Monday that it would acquire Motorola Mobility Holdings for $40 a share, or $12.5 billion. The offer is the search engine giant’s largest acquisition in its history.

Seems Internet resources such as search engines could make you less likely to recall information. So says a new study, anyway, which sought to discover how likely people are to remember something if they knew they could also find it on a computer.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead met with the Google Enterprise President, David Girouard, on Wednesday morning to discuss Wyoming being the first state in the country to go Google. On June 20th, all of the state’s employees migrated to Google Apps for Government according to a release from the Governor’s Office. Mead says the move will save the state of Wyoming an estimated $1 million a year.
