Redrawing congressional boundaries every 10 years is a hotly contested process in many places — but not Wyoming, the nation's least-populated state.

A U.S. House committee has unanimously passed a measure that would lift restrictions on canoes, rafts, kayaks and other hand-propelled vessels in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks.

Lummis says the EPA proposal would require all new coal-fired power plants to have carbon emissions capturing and sequestration systems that are not currently available in the marketplace.

The bill would prevent any spending on subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, projected to start in January 2014, until a process is put in place to verify the income and eligibility of people receiving those subsidies.

Wyoming will get back approximately $50 million that was scheduled to be sequestered in fiscal year (FY) 2013.
