Swearing-In Ceremony Held Tomorrow For Representative-Elect Tom Reeder

Representative-Elect Tom Reeder of Casper will be sworn in tomorrow at the State Capitol in Cheyenne. The swearing-in ceremony will begin at 1pm in the House Chambers of the Capitol Building.The Wyoming Supreme Courts Justice William Hill will preside over the ceremony and administrate the oath of office. General public can attend the ceremony and members of the media are encouraged to attend.

The Natrona County Commissioners appointed Reeder on September 27th. He was appointed to fill the vacant House District 58 seat. It was previously held by Representative Lisa Shepperson. According to the Wyoming Constitution Article 6 Sections 20-21 states that new legislators will take an oath of office in the legislative chamber in which they will serve.
