For folks in Laramie, this will come as no surprise. A new study claims Albany County, Wyoming, has the worst weather in America.

The Stacker study ranked the worst counties for severe weather in each state over the last decade citing data compiled from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. From 2008 through 2017, Albany County experienced an average of 133 severe weather events each year. High winds were the major culprit, accounting for 125 events annually. Albany County also averaged 4.9 winter storms per year.

Sedwick County, Kansas, was the only other county in the country to average over 100 severe weather events annually. Polk County, Iowa, ranked third nationally, with 90. Green County, Missouri (83), and El Paso County, Colorado (81), rounded out the five worst-weather counties in the country.
