Sportsline Live Holds Fourth Major Golf Calcutta

The final major of the 2014 golf season is taking place in Kentucky. Sportsline Live's Fourth Major Golf Calcutta field is set.

Listeners that tuned in to Sportsline Live (SLL) on Tuesday and Wednesday were eligible to select any two golfers from the field of golf’s fourth major. SLL also gave participants a chance to play roulette. This is where a listener could choose a group number, 1-52, and a golfer number, 1-3, to get their two golfers. Another opportunity was to select one golfer and then choose to play roulette.

If a participant’s two golfers combine for the lowest total score in relation to par, that person wins a golf-related prize pack from Sportsline Live. In the event of a tie, the lowest final round score of an individual golfer is used as a tie-breaker. If a golfer misses the cut on Friday or withdraws for whatever reason, a participant is out of the running for the prize pack.

The co-hosts of SLL, Jerrad, Brian, David and Scott, plus our news reporter Tracie, intern Duncan and our last Calcutta winner Jack, are also take part in the Calcutta contest, but are not eligible for any of the prizes.
