There's a new video share that is a humbling reminder of just how fast our Wyoming wildfires can grow. It's a time-lapse video of the Fishhawk fire In Park County.

James Yule shared this on YouTube today showing video footage he took near Yellowstone last Thursday. The video begins around 1 in the afternoon and continues until just after 8 pm that night.

What begins as a single tower of smoke escalates to an entire treeline ablaze. Terrifying.

The InciWeb website indicates the Fishhawk Fire has now grown to over 11,000 acres as of around 12 hours ago.

In case you were planning on traveling near this area, be aware there are north and south zone road closures according to the Shoshone National Forest information page.
