UNDATED (AP) — The Detroit Tigers own baseball's best record at 23-12, but they hadn't won a game when trailing after eight innings until Tuesday.

Miguel Cabrera launched a go-ahead, three-run homer with two out in the top of the ninth before Victor Martinez added a solo shot in Detroit's 4-1 comeback win over the Orioles. It was the second straight blown save for Tommy Hunter since converting 11 of his first 12 attempts.

Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez (oo-BAHL'-doh hih-MEHN'-ehz) struck out seven while limiting the Tigers to three hits in seven innings. He is 3-0 with a 0.46 ERA this month.

In other major league finals:

- Brandon Moss homered twice and Drew Pomeranz combined with three relievers on a four-hit shutout as Oakland easily won its sixth in a row, 11-0 over the Chicago White Sox. Josh Reddick also homered while Yoenis Cespedes (yoh-EH'-nehs SEHS'-peh-dehs) added two hits and scored twice.

- Pinch-hitter Greg Garcia was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 12th to end the Cardinals' 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs in St. Louis. Redbirds starter Adam Wainwright was in line for his National League-leading seventh win until Emilio Bonifacio's RBI single with two out in the ninth.

- Mike Minor pitched three-hit ball into the seventh inning of Atlanta's 5-0 shutout of San Francisco. Evan Gattis drove in a run with his first career triple to help the Braves beat the Giants for the first time in five tries this season.

- Hanley Ramirez doubled home a pair to ignite a five-run sixth in the Dodgers' 7-1 win over Miami in Los Angeles. Former Marlin Josh Beckett struck out six and allowed no earned runs and four hits in 6 1/3 innings.

- Jonathan Lucroy hit a two-run single and Marco Estrada struck out eight in six innings of Milwaukee's 5-2 win against Pittsburgh. The Brewers finished the game without Carlos Gomez, who left with lower back tightness.

- San Diego beat Cincinnati 2-1 on Chase Headley's solo homer off Aroldis (ah-RAHL'-dihs) Chapman with two out in the ninth. Padres starter Andrew Cashner limited the Reds to a run and seven hits in seven innings.

- Juan Francisco hit a tiebreaking solo homer in the fifth inning and added an RBI double in a three-run sixth that lifted Toronto past Cleveland 5-4. Adam Lind added a two-run double in the Blue Jays' second straight win, which puts them back at .500.

- Luis Jimenez doubled home a pair of runs to cap the Angels' four-run sixth in a 4-3 win at Philadelphia. The rally made a winner of Matt Shoemaker, who allowed two runs and three hits in five innings after being recalled from the minors earlier in the day.

- Dallas Keuchel pitched a seven-hitter for his first major league shutout, striking out seven and walking none in Houstons' 8-0 pounding of Texas. L.J. Hoes and Carlos Corporan each homered and drove in three runs.

- Curtis Granderson and Daniel Murphy hit three-run homers in the New York Mets' sixth consecutive win over the New York Yankees, 12-7. Granderson has homered against his old team in each of the last two games to help the Mets move back to .500.

- Minnesota beat Boston 8-6 on Chris Parmelee's two-run, walkoff homer in the bottom of the ninth. The overcame a big night by David Ortiz, who went 4 for 5 with two homers and four RBIs.

- James Shields allowed one run in seven innings of Kansas City's 5-1 verdict over Colorado. Lorenzo Cain and Salvador Perez both homered and Alcides Escobar (al-SEE'-dehs EHS'-koh-bahr) had two RBIs for the Royals.

- David Price struck out 12 and went the distance on a six-hitter to pitch Tampa Bay past Seattle 2-1. Price was on the hook for the loss until David DeJesus led off the ninth with a homer and Matt Joyce lined an RBI single.

- Bronson Arroyo tossed a seven-hitter, went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored the go-ahead run in Arizona's 3-1 win against Washington. Paul Goldschmidt doubled twice, including a tiebreaking, two-run poke off loser Stephen Strasburg.

UNDATED (AP) — The New York Yankees spent a lot of money on free agents last season. One of those players could be sidelined for a while.

Right fielder Carlos Beltran has a bone spur in his right elbow that could require surgery if a pain-relief shot does not ease the symptoms. Beltran was given a cortisone injection last night, shortly after he felt a sharp pain taking swings in a batting cage during the Yankees' 9-7 loss to the Mets. He says he could head for surgery if the shot doesn't work in two or three days.

There's good and bad news for the Milwaukee Brewers on the injury front. The team has activated outfielder Ryan Braun from the 15-day disabled list after he was sidelined with a right oblique strain. Third baseman Aramis (ah-RAH'-mihs) Ramirez was placed on the DL with a strained left hamstring suffered in Saturday's win over the New York Yankees.

- The Blue Jays have recalled outfielder Kevin Pillar from Triple-A Buffalo and put him in the lineup for tonight's game against Cleveland. Pillar is batting ninth and playing center field in place of Colby Rasmus, who left last night's game after six innings with a tight right hamstring. Manager John Gibbons said Rasmus is expected to miss at least two games, but should avoid a trip to the disabled list.

- The Mets have called up right-hander Jacob deGrom (deh-GRAHM') from Triple-A Las Vegas and put him in the bullpen to replace Gonzalez Germen (hur-MEHN'), who's on the 15-day disabled list with a virus. DeGrom has made 58 minor league starts without a relief appearance and is 4-0 with a 2.58 ERA this season. The 25-year-old DeGrom said pitching in relief during spring training helped him prepare for the new role.

- San Diego has activated outfielder Carlos Quentin from the disabled list before the start of its three-game series against Cincinnati, bringing their lineup closer to full strength. Quentin opened the season on the disabled list and missed the first 39 games with a bruised left knee. He was in the starting lineup in right field.

- The St. Louis Cardinals have recalled relievers Sam Freeman and Jorge Rondon (HOHR'-hay rahn-DOHN') from Triple-A Memphis. Freeman has spent parts of the last two seasons with the Cardinals, while Rondon will be looking to make his Major League debut after spending the past eight seasons in the minors.

- Kansas City has placed second baseman Omar Infante on the disabled list with a lower back injury. He's been dealing with disc irritation.
