The Town of Rock River is still without water after a water line broke, causing the town to go without water for an unknown period of time. The town has gone without water since Wednesday morning.

Residents may pick up bottled water at the Town of Rock River Fire Hall between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.  Water will be rationed to three galonsl per person at this time per 96 hour period.

The Town of Rock River has a limited number of 5 gallon buckets that may be used for non-potable water by residents.  The non-potable water tank is located at the Rock River Fire Hall.

Residents are advised that if they need assistance with getting water they need to contact the Town of Rock River.

Rock River City Clerk Andrea Lamb says that crews have found a leak in the main water line between the water plant and the town, which has about 245 residents.
