Promoter Brings Modeling Back to Laramie
Ageless Talent Global Promoter Abel Carv says he would love to have a modeling scene in Laramie, so he is taking a step to make it happen.
By using the knowledge he has of the industry, he aims at giving others the skills to move forward in their modeling careers. This Sunday, local models will compete for cash prizes and gain greater exposure at Laramie's Next Top Model 2 hosted at the 8 Bytes Cafe.
“I am trying to give the locals with high dreams of modeling a chance to show their skill,” Abel says.
“Anyone can model, but it is about their skills," he adds.
Abel says people who understand how to pose and use proper facial expressions will stand out from the crowd.
Abel says another benefit of the event is that it showcases local modeling talent to local business. Businesses can see local models who can be featured in ads, such as on billboards or in the newspaper, which helps keep money more localized.
“Laramie’s next top model will give a chance for local and regional models to practice their skills and win a prize in the process, “ Abel says.
The event will consist of three rounds: a catwalk, photo shoot and then promo modeling. There will be live music entertainment after each round. This is the second of the Laramie's Next Top Model series.
The most previous event was hosted in part with Shocktoberfest. This will be Ageless Talent's first solo event in over a year.
Abel said he is also looking forward to this particular event because of feedback for future events for the community.
