Rocky Mountain Power says power was restored at 12:57 a.m. Sunday. Anyone still without power can call the company at 1-877-508-5088.

According to the Rocky Mountain Power website, approximately 869 customers were without power as of 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Crews are making repairs, and the company estimates power will be restored at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

About 95 Laramie customers lost power Saturday evening, according to a Rocky Mountain Power employee.

The employee estimated power would be restored at 10 p.m., but said weather conditions and the nature of the repairs may extend the outage beyond 10 p.m.

A company spokesperson could not be be reached for comment Saturday night. The employee speaking over the phone said the outage could have been caused by a tree that fell on a power line, but that information could not be verified.

The employee could not specify the area of the outage, but residents reported losing power on the south side of Laramie.

Laramie resident Lexie Perrotti said in a Facebook post that she saw a power line fall behind her home in the area of 15th and Spring Creek.

"There were so many sparks that I thought someone lit off a firework!" Perrotti wrote.

Perrotti said the fire was small, short-lived and contained to the power line itself.

"When the line went down there were a ton of sparks, but that also only lasted a small amount of time. We looked outside and saw it after our lights started flickering but the power is still on," she wrote.

Rocky Mountain Power's website reported no large-scale outages in Wyoming as of 10:14 p.m. Saturday.
