Voters will want to plan ahead before arriving at Linford Elementary School to cast primary ballots, as road paving is causing some problems for folks on their way to the voting booth.

Stacey Harvey with the Albany County Clerk's Office says parking on Grant is probably a safe bet, but people will have to park about two blocks down from Linford and walk to the school. Follow the sidewalk, or the other people headed to Linford, to the parking lot and the 'vote here' signs will point you to the appropriate entrance.

Paving is going on all around the school, so parking on Grant is the best option.

Harvey says the clerk's office was not notified of the paving until it was too late to change the polling place, so they're trying to get the word out and help voters make the best of the situation.
