After being closed for months due to flooding, the Laramie River Greenbelt Park Trail System, from Curtis Street to Commerce Drive, has been reopened by the City of Laramie, Parks and Recreation Department. The underpass under Snowy Range Road is still closed as minor flooding remains at that location.

The City of Laramie gave thanks for patience and understanding throughout "the longer than typical seasonal flooding of the Laramie River" in a press release on Friday. They also apologized for any inconvenience the extended closure may have caused.

The Wyoming Territorial Park and the City of Laramie also included a reminder that it is illegal to trespass across State Parks property without paying the required park entrance fee. For further information, contact Parks Manager Mike Zook at (307)721-5264.
