Pacers Rally To Beat Heat – NBA Roundup For Dec. 11th

UNDATED (AP) — The Indiana Pacers have stretched their lead in the NBA's Eastern Conference by knocking off the No. 2 team.

Paul George scored 15 of his 17 points while the Pacers were turning a seven-point, halftime deficit into a 90-84 victory over Miami. The Pacers never led until Roy Hibbert converted a three-point play midway through the third period.

Hibbert finished with a team-high 24 points as Indiana improved to a league-best 19-3 and moved three games ahead of the Heat.

LeBron James led the Heat with 17 points, 14 rebounds and six assists but had only three baskets and nine points after the first quarter.

In other NBA action:

— San Antonio had little trouble with Toronto as Manu Ginobili (MAN'-oo jih-NOH'-blee) scored 16 points and Tony Parker added 15 in the Spurs' 116-103 downing of the Raptors. Tim Duncan and Aron Baynes each had 14 points for the Spurs, who trailed by 14 in the first quarter before outscoring the Raptors 65-38 over the next two periods.

— Kevin Durant scored 30 points in Oklahoma City's 101-92 win over the Hawks in Atlanta. The Thunder won for the 11th time in 12 games despite a poor shooting night by Russell Westbrook, who shot 6-for-21 in scoring 14 points.

— Goran Dragic scored 31 points and Marcus Morris added 22 as Phoenix beat the Los Angeles Lakers 114-108. Kobe Bryant looked better in his second game back from Achilles' surgery, scoring 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting in 29 minutes.

— Minnesota pounded Detroit 121-94 behind Kevin Love's 26 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in just 30 minutes. Nikola Pekovic (nee-KOH'-luh PEHK'-oh-vich) and Kevin Martin added 18 points each for the Timberwolves.

— John Henson's 25 points and 14 rebounds carried Milwaukee to a 78-74 win at Chicago. Brandon Knight also had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Bucks improved to 5-16.

— Deron Williams scored a season-high 25 points in his return to the lineup, while Brook Lopez added 24 in Brooklyn's 104-96 win over visiting Boston. Williams was sharp after missing the Nets' previous nine games with a sprained left ankle, helping the Nets post consecutive wins for the first time this season.

— Kyrie Irving scored 37 points and had 11 assists as Cleveland hammered New York 109-94. Jarrett Jack had 17 points to help the Cavaliers earn their fourth consecutive home win and drop the Knicks to 5-15.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Clippers have signed 13-year veteran swingman Stephen Jackson. The Clippers have lost J.J. Redick, Matt Barnes and Reggie Bullock to injuries in recent weeks, forcing the Pacific Division leaders to search for depth. The 35-year-old Jackson spent last season with San Antonio, averaging 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds.
