One Pot Bust Leads To Another

Information found during the investigation of a Casper man's marijuana-growing operation on Wednesday lead to search warrants for drugs executed in Fremont County on Thursday, according to a news release from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

The case started Monday when investigators with the DCI and Casper Police Department learned of a large marijuana growing operation at 372 Oleander St., in Paradise Valley.

Wednesday, authorities obtained and executed a search warrant the residence and found a multistage marijuana growing operation. Agents collected 54 suspected marijuana plants. Buds of the plants weighed more than 375 grams without packaging.

Neil Arcuri, 35, was charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance -- marijuana, one felony count of possession a controlled substance -- marijuana -- with intent to deliver, and one misdemeanor count of cultivating a controlled substance -- marijuana.

Authorities also found information and passed to the DCI's Northwest Enforcement Team. This regional narcotics enforcement team is composed members of the DCI, Riverton and Powell police departments, Park County and Fremont County sheriffs offices, Eastern Shoshoni Tribe, and Bureau of Indian Affairs/Wind River Police Department.

Thursday, DCI and team agents conducted search warrants at 7340 Riverview Road and 518 N. Broadway Ave. in Fremont County.

Agents seized approximately 640 high-grade marijuana plants, additional bulk marijuana, and an undetermined amount of cash.

Luke Jackson Tilghman, 33, was arrested on other charges unrelated to the current investigation. Charges are pending.

All individuals are considered innocent till proven guilty, according to the DCI.
