UNDATED (AP) — It took a while but the San Antonio Spurs finally outlasted the Washington Wizards 125-118 in double overtime. It's the 16th straight time the Spurs have beaten the Wizards. Tim Duncan scored a season-high 31 points before fouling out in the second overtime. The Spurs rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit.

Patty Mills scored 11 of his 23 points in the two overtimes for the Spurs, who haven't lost to the Wizards since a 110-95 defeat on Nov. 12, 2005. The Spurs moved ahead of Miami's 15-game domination of Charlotte for the longest current team-vs.-team streak in the league.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich called the latest victory "one of the finest wins I've ever been associated with, and I'm saying that truthfully."

John Wall had 29 points and nine assists for the Wizards, who fell back to .500 at 24-24.

In other NBA action:

— In a battle of division leaders, the Miami Heat opened an early 19-point lead and held off the L.A. Clippers 116-112. LeBron James led seven Miami players in double figures with 31. He also had eight rebounds and 12 assists. James also drew a key charging foul with 37 seconds left after the Clippers had closed within five. Ray Allen scored 11 of his 15 in the fourth quarter. Blake Griffin had 43 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.

— The lowly Sacramento Kings surprised Atlantic Division-leading Toronto 109-101 for their second straight victory. DeMarcus Cousins led the way with 25 points and 10 boards. Rudy Gay added 24 points and 10 rebounds.

— The L.A. Lakers snapped a seven-game losing streak by beating Cleveland 119-108. Rookie Ryan Kelly scored a career-high 26 points and Steve Blake had 15 assists for Los Angeles, which hit 18 of 37 3-point shots.

— Kevin Durant had 26 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and the Oklahoma City Thunder won for the 12th time in their last 13 games with a 106-97 victory over Minnesota. The T-Wolves were without All-Star Kevin Love, out with a stiff neck, and two other starters, center Nikola Pekovic (nee-KOH'-luh PEHK'-oh-vich) and forward Corey Brewer.

— Dwight Howard had 34 points and 14 rebounds and the Houston Rockets picked up their fourth straight victory, 122-108 over the Phoenix Suns.

— Dirk Nowitzki (noh-VIHT'-skee) scored 26 points, Brandan Wright added 17 and the Dallas Mavericks used a second-half surge to grab a 110-96 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

— Nicolas Batum (bah-TOOM') had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Wesley Matthews scored 18 points, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the New York Knicks 94-90.

— Wilson Chandler scored seven of his 24 points in the final 1:52 and the Denver Nuggets held on to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-100.

— Rookie Victor Oladipo (OH'-luh-dee-poh) came off the bench to score 20 points and Glen Davis had 18 in the Orlando Magic's 112-98 victory over the Detroit Pistons.

— Jeff Green scored 17 of his 36 points in the third quarter in the Boston Celtics' 114-108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

— Anthony Davis had 27 points and 10 rebounds, and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Atlanta Hawks 105-100.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Pelicans and Louisiana-based Smoothie King have reached a 10-year agreement to rename the New Orleans Arena as the Smoothie King Center.

Pelicans President Dennis Lauscha calls the deal "gigantic" as it relates to the long-term financial viability of the NBA team in New Orleans.

Smoothie King has 674 locations in 31 states and in Asia.

The arena is officially being renamed on Thursday, in time for next week's NBA All-Star festivities.
