UNDATED (AP) — Monta (MAHN'-tay) Ellis had 23 points and nine rebounds, and Dirk Nowitzki (noh-VIHT'-skee) added 18 points as the Dallas Mavericks handed the Indiana Pacers their third home loss of the season, 81-73.

The Mavericks have won six of seven. They head into this weekend's All-Star break with a record of 32-22.

In other NBA action:

— LeBron James let the time tick down before carrying the Miami Heat into the All-Star break in a way only he could. James capped one of his best games of the season in dramatic fashion, making a step-back 3-pointer with less than a second remaining to propel the Heat past the Golden State Warriors 111-110. James finished with 36 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.

— Blake Griffin scored 36 points, Chris Paul had 20 points and 12 assists, and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Portland Trail Blazers. The Clippers converted 16 Portland turnovers into 20 points during a back-and-forth game that included 40 lead changes.

— Tim Duncan scored 23 of his 25 points in the second half, powering the injury-depleted San Antonio Spurs to a 104-92 win over the Boston Celtics. The Spurs were without guards Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili (MAN'-oo jih-NOH'-blee) and forward Tiago Splitter - all out with injuries.

— Atlantic Division-leading Toronto bopped Atlanta 104-83. DeMar DeRozan scored 31 points as the Raptors ended a five-game home losing streak to Atlanta dating to 2010. Kyle Lowry had 16 points and 13 assists.

— Rudy Gay made the tying basket in regulation and a 3-pointer in overtime that gave Sacramento the lead for good, and Jimmer Fredette scored a career-high 24 points to help the Kings beat the New York Knicks 106-101.

— Minnesota routed Denver 117-90. Kevin Love canned six 3-pointers and had 32 points and 11 rebounds.

— James Harden made a layup with seven-tenths of a second left and Houston nipped Washington 113-112. Harden also made a free throw with four seconds left. Harden finished with 35 points and added six rebounds and six assists. Trevor Ariza (ah-REE'-zuh) led Washington with 32.

— Kyrie Irving's 3-pointer as the shot clock expired with 27.2 seconds remaining lifted the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 93-89 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Cleveland has won four straight and snapped the Pistons' three-game winning streak.

— New Orleans edged Milwaukee 102-98. Brian Roberts led seven Pelicans in double figures with 17.

— Zach Randolph had 20 points, Courtney Lee added 17 and the Memphis Grizzlies held off the Orlando Magic 86-81.

— The Brooklyn Nets trounced Charlotte 105-89. Paul Pierce led all scorers with 25 on nine of 11 shooting for the Nets.

— Utah topped Philadelphia 105-100. Alex Burks led the Jazz with 26.
