Man Recovering From Accidental Shooting in Gillette

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) — A 40-year-old man is recovering from accidentally shooting himself in the leg while cleaning his .45-caliber handgun.

The man was treated and released from Campbell County Memorial Hospital.

Authorities say the man was shot Saturday night. The Associated Press reports the bullet entered his leg just above his left knee and exited just below his knee, then continued across his living room and hit his television.
