A man suspected in the robbery of a Laramie hotel, just about midnight on New Year's Eve 2012/2013 is facing charges in Albany County.

According to court paperwork, 21-year-old Terence James faces a charge of Accessory Before the Fact to Aggravated Robbery.  The case stems from the New Year's Eve armed robbery of the Fairfield Inn in West Laramie.

James appeared in Albany County Circuit Court before Magistrate Tori Kricken to hear the charges against him.  James wore a jail jumpsuit and shackles.  He is currently being held in the Albany County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

Reportedly, two armed suspects entered the Fairfield Inn in West Laramie at about 8 minutes after midnight on January 1st of 2013.  Police say the two individuals demanded money and property from the Fairfield Clerk and that one of the suspects was holding a handgun.

A police affidavit goes on to say that police detectives allege that James admitted to involvement in the robbery during questioning, as well as admitting to involvement in other hotel robberies in Casper, Nebraska and Colorado.

James had been one of three men implicated in the robbery of a Cheyenne cash advance center in Cheyenne last January, he was arrested shortly after that incident.  According to officials in Laramie County District Court, charges against him in that county were dismissed "with prejudice."  Which means that charges can be refiled in the case if the County deems it necessary.

Kevin Lewis, another man arrested following the Cheyenne robbery of the cash advance center, is suspected of being the second man in the Laramie Fairfield Inn robbery.  It is expected he will face charges in Albany County sometime in the future.

Isaac James, the third suspect in the Cheyenne, has not been implicated in the Laramie robbery.  Both Isaac James and Kevin Lewis pleaded guilty in Laramie County District Court in relation to the Cheyenne robbery charges.
