The Laramie Police Department has just issued an update on the bank robbery that occurred at First National Bank in Laramie Wednesday evening at 4:51 PM. The suspect in the robbery is still at large, however the police department did end the Code Red alert that was issued following the incident late Wednesday. Our initial conversations with Laramie Police commander Mitch Cushman gave a description of the suspect as the following:

The suspect is a white male, 30 to 40 years of age with black cowboy type hat, scraggily dark hair, full beard dressed in dark jeans and black waist length coat. The suspect left the bank on foot and is believed to be in a dark PT Cruiser with dark tinted windows. There is a possibility that the beard and bulky coat may be a disguise.

The police department has now also released photos from First National Bank's security camera's and is asking for your help in identifying the bank robber as the police department's investigation continues. If you have further information on the suspect or their vehicle contact the Laramie police department at 307-721-2526. Aggravated Robbery is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than 5 years nor more than 25 years if in the course of the crime of robbery the person uses or exhibits a deadly weapon or a simulated deadly weapon, which looks to be the case in this instance.
