Laramie Man Arrested For Strangling Fiance

A Laramie man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly strangled his fiance.

On November 29 David Michael Elsberry engaged in argument with his fiance, Meghann Deming. During the argument Elsberry grabbed Deming by the throat with both of his hands and dragged her outside of the residence. Deming's mother had to intervene to get Elsberry to release her daughter. A few moments later Elsberry again grabbed Meghann Deming by the throat and forced her to the ground.

Once police officials arrived on scene, Elsberry admitted to grabbing his fiance by the neck and forcing her outside. Elsberry was intoxicated at the time of the incident and could not remember other details of the altercation.

Elsberry faces charges for battery of a household member. David Elsberry has an arraignment court date set for Dec. 4, 2013.
