KOWB 1290 Now Streaming 24/7 On The Web And Smartphones!!!

We have great news for all of you loyal KOWB listeners! Starting today KOWB will be streaming  online and on iphone or Android mobile devices!

Technology has no doubt changed and effected almost every aspect of a person's life. Technological advances have without a doubt also changed the way radio is presented to the public. Smart phones now days are devices that can provide you with almost anything imaginable! You can find mobile applications on smart phones ranging from games, education, entertainment  to health and fitness and even finances! Whatever your looking for there is more than likely a mobile application for it!

Technology has also changed the face of radio. Of course you can always tune into a radio station on your stereo but its also just as easy to listen to radio on a computer or even on your smart phone! Incredible, I know. However some might ask, "how can I listen to KOWB on my computer or phone?" "What is the difference between a normal radio broadcast from KOWB verses an online streaming broadcast?"

The answers to those questions are easy! As of today, if you have a smartphone (and know how to use it) then all you have to do is download the KOWB mobile application from the Android or iphone markets! The application will then let you listen to what we are broadcasting on air! For those of you wondering what the difference between a normal broadcast and a online streaming broadcast is, well the answer is nothing!

At KOWB we want our listeners to get the most out of our station. With the capability of  streaming online and our streamlined website, we are now able to provide you with listener enjoyment around the world! Now, no matter what you'll always be able to stay up to date on the latest news, sports and talk in Laramie.

However, KOWB will not be able to stream broadcasts of  collegiate and professional sports due to licensing agreements. This includes Broncos, Rockies and the University of Wyoming sports broadcasts. During the scheduled times of games KOWB streaming will air our regular syndicated shows.
