Two Feet Of Snow Possible In Southeast Wyoming Mountains
The calendar may say late April, but a Winter Weather Advisory, Winter Storm Watch, and Winter Storm Warning have been posted for higher elevations in southeast Wyoming for this weekend.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
The higher terrain of southeast Wyoming will begin to see snow showers accumulate later tonight. Elevations that are prone to higher snowfall accumulation in the spring will be the most vulnerable this weekend. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the I-80 Summit where slightly lower confidence exists for weather impacts. Higher confidence exists for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range Mountains. A Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning have been issued to reflect this
