Thousands View First 2023 Cheyenne Frontier Days Parade
A crowd of several thousand people gathered along the downtown parade route for the first of four Cheyenne Frontier Days Grand Parades on Saturday morning.
While estimating crowd size for such events is notoriously difficult, it's safe to say that crowds were comparable to similar CFD parades in recent years
The first parade was blessed with what many people would consider ideal summer parade weather--sunny and warm by Wyoming standards, but not oppressively hot.
Parade-goers were treated to marching bands, floats, Native American performers, and a number of other visual displays. Townsquare Media's Doug Randall and Phylica were on hand the take pictures, which are attached to this article.
The second parade is slated for Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., with additional processions slated for Thursday and Saturday in downtown Cheyenne.
