Disturbance With Gun Leads to Felony Charge for Cheyenne Man
An 18-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after he was caught on video confronting another male with a gun.
Police say it happened around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 at 3061 Leech Blvd. in southeast Cheyenne.
According to a booking sheet, Wyatt Layne Winslow reportedly got into a verbal argument with the victim, left the area, then returned to the home and confronted the victim with a drawn handgun.
Police say Winslow can be seen on video driving away from the argument, turning his vehicle around and driving back to the scene, then exiting his vehicle, pulling a handgun from a holster on his right leg, and engaging the victim after racking a round into the chamber.
Winslow was arrested and subsequently charged with aggravated assault.
He made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court Monday morning, during which his bond was set at $3,000 cash or surety and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 14 at 10:30 a.m.
