Cheyenne, Laramie and most of southeast Wyoming above 5,000 feet stands a good chance of getting snow with a strong cold front that will pass through the area on Tuesday and Wednesday.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on it's website:

''Forecast remains on track for our first widespread taste of winter across southeast Wyoming, into the Nebraska Panhandle. This looks to takes place Tuesday into Wednesday as the front moves through, from northwest to southeast. Rain ahead of the front, with snow developing in the cold air behind the front. Best chances for snow for most folks will be Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Will likely see some travel impacts during this timeframe, on area roads in southeast Wyoming. Stay tuned to later updates in the forecast for any warnings or advisories that may be issued.''
