Brody Cress Ties For First In Eighth Round NFR Action
Hillsdale's Brody Cress notched an 87.5 saddle bronc riding score in eighth go-round action on Thursday night at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
Cress rode the Corey and Lange horse Monster.
That was good for a tie for first place with Zeke Thurston and Sage Newman for the round. Overall, Cress remains just behind Thurston in the average standings. Cress won $24,433 for his ride.
The action continues tonight and is slated to wrap up on Saturday.
Two Other Wyoming Cowboys Finish Out Of The Money Thursday
Two other Wyoming NFR competitors missed placing in their events on Thursday night. Tanner Butner of Daniel scored an 85 on In the Lu in the saddle bronc competition. In the bareback event, Cole Reiner of Buffalo scored a 79 on Broken Arrow.
