Snow Possible For Cheyenne, Laramie, 18 Inches In Mountains
Winter Storm warnings and advisories have been posted for southeast Wyoming for today and into Thursday.
Cheyenne and Laramie are not under any kind of warning or advisory, but rain and/or snow are possible in both communities. That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on its Facebook page:
''A storm system is expected to pass through the area Wednesday into Thursday, bringing accumulating mountain snowfall and scattered rain/snow for the valleys. Current winter headlines are in effect for the Snowy Range and Sierra Madres. Up to 18 inches of snow possible for the Sierra Madres, mainly above 8000ft, and up to 10 inches for the Snowy Range, mainly above 9000ft.''
