Tris Munsick & the Innocents Bring Cowboy Country to Laramie
Regionally acclaimed and beloved in the Equality State, Tris and his band have continued to grow in popularity as traditional cowboy country makes a comeback in mainstream music. They've opened for CMA winners like the Eli Young Band, Cody Johnson, and Big & Rich. Laramie's own Chancey Williams said of Tris, "Tris Munsick is the real deal. He can write about and represent cowboy culture because he was born in it and lives it."
On March 22, the Arts & Science Department stage at UW welcomes Tris Munsick and his band to the stage. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the show. Students and Laramie residents are invited to enjoy an evening of boot-stomping, soul-warming country music. Tickets are on sale now and run $35 a piece - the first 1,000 UW students with a valid ID get in for free.
