I'm sorry to say I don't have a lot of details on what happened here.

All I know is that what you will see in the video below, and the screen grab I took of it, came from one of the worst days on Interstate 80 in Wyoming.

Honestly, where else could this have happened?

This 4 door pickup truck was ripped open right down the side.

I mean, all the way down.

Not just the outer skin.

The truck was ripped open to the point that the entire inside was exposed.

Scroll to :27 seconds into the video to see the truck appear in the video shoot.

From the passenger door to the tailgate.

How the HELL?

The driver, and any passengers, could have survived this without any injury.

But that is not known just by looking at this photo.

So exactly what happened.

How fast some someone has to be going for their truck to be ripped open like this?

A commonly ignored piece of advice when driving in winter conditions like this is SLOW DOWN!

Snow and Ice were involved, that's for sure.

Looking down the highway through the rest of the video you'll see vehicles of all sizes, off the road, twisted in every imaginable position.

BONUS VIDEO: I-80 winter pileup.

There is a time that people should just look at I-80 through Wyoming and say NOPE!

It's not even worth trying.

But if you do find yourself driving on a Wyoming highway when the weather goes bad, stay in the dry lane, go slow, get off as soon as you can.

This truck shows you exactly why.
