Denver Booted: Colorado Football Players Have A Big Problem With Parking
Colorado University has made the news a lot ever since Deion Sanders took over as the football team's Head Coach. One of the ways they're making the news is about parking.
The CU players do have to get to Folsom Field for practice, maybe they'll want to start looking at other ways to get there, instead of driving. Maybe their cars wouldn't stand out so much to area police if they weren't so expensive.
It may seem like a "first world" problem to many, having to deal with where to park an expensive car when going to football practice, but that's what more than a few CU players are going through, including the Head Coach's son.

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado's successful quarterback, got "popped" for illegal parking in November of 2023; a Colorado classic, the "Denver Boot," was placed on his vehicle, according to Bleacher Report.

Many might suggest that Shedeur should think about a more "pragmatic" choice when it comes to getting to and from CU's Champions Center, where the team practices. Shedeur's Rolls-Royce, reportedly worth $400,000, was the vehicle "booted."

According to Bleacher Report, more than a half-dozen players have had their vehicles towed for being parked illegally. Being towed, and getting "booted," are definite hassles, to anyone, let alone young football players.
THE WHEEL 'BOOT' COMES FROM DENVER?
Denver inventor, Frank Marugg, invented the wheel "boot" in the 1950's; Denver police started using them to help collect fines that they were losing out on. It's hard to believe that they are still being used today. Shedeur Sanders probably feels the same.
