PhotoFest! Casper-Oil City Basketball Tournament
The high school basketball season finally got started over the weekend and one of those 1st events was the Casper-Oil City Tournament. On the boy's side, Laramie showed right away that they would contend for a championship as they went 3-0. Natrona made a big step forward by going 3-0 as well with Kelly Walsh, Green River, and Evanston going 1-2. Cheyenne South went 0-3.
For the ladies, Laramie won 3 straight in the tourney with Green River and Natrona winning 2 of 3. Cheyenne South and Kelly Walsh lost 2 of 3 and Evanston went 0-3. Some of these squads are young so the experience they got in Casper will help them as the season goes on. At this time of year, every basketball team in the state has high hopes.
