Cheyenne Sixers Player and Coach Reaction to 2023 State Championship [VIDEO]

The Cheyenne Sixers captured the 2023 Wyoming American Legion Baseball AA State Title last Friday in Jackson.

Cheyenne defeated the Casper Oilers, 10-2, in the state championship game.

After the game, WyoPreps caught up with Tournament MVP Hayden Swaen, catcher Kaden Anderson (sixth title with the entire Cheyenne program), shortstop Colter McAnelly, and manager Ty Lain to discuss this latest title, their exploits in the tournament, some keys to winning it, special awards, and looking ahead to the Northwest Regional Tournament in Gillette.

The Sixers will play on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, in Gillette at 4 p.m. Their first-round opponent is Helena, MT, at the regional tournament.
