The WyoPreps Preseason Football Tour returns for its third year. It allows us to visit with players and coaches from various programs ahead of the 2023 season.

This year’s tour keeps us closer to home, as we roam through the southeast portion of the state.

Our first stop was a little shorter drive than usual, as it was right in our backyard. From Class 4A, it’s the Laramie Plainsmen.

We visited with senior players Porter Trabing, Kyler Roberts, and Bodie Livingston about how fall camp is going, what the focus has been, how can they improve over the last few seasons, and a lot more.

WyoPreps also spoke with head coach Paul Ronga about the differences in his third year at the helm, the better numbers in the program, what they’re trying to do differently, and what needs to get done before the first game.

The Plainsmen went 2-8 in 2022 and fell in the first round of the 4A playoffs to eventual state champion Sheridan.
