Safe Trick-or-Treat Events: ALL are free, and ALL have candy. Plan your route and get trick-or-treating. Safe trick-or-treats are offered all over town, from Friday, Oct. 27 to Halloween on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Make an extended weekend of costume-wearing candy-gathering fun.

Friday, Oct. 27

WyoElite Trunk or Treat
Wear a costume and bring a friend!
When: 6-8 p.m.
Where: Wyoming School of Gymnastics parking lot 803 Skyline Rd.

Saturday, Oct. 28

Scaramie
The annual Downtown trick-or-treat fest. Safe candy-gathering, in the daylight.
When: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Where: Downtown Laramie

Haunted Basement
A kid-friendly haunted house hosted during Scaramie by Landmark Properties.
When: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Landmark Properties; 269 N. Third St. 

Story Walk Trick-or-Treat
Librarians will be at each story walk station located around the library to hand out treats and prizes.
When: 10-11:30 a.m.
Where: Albany County Public Library

Halloween at the Ivinson Mansion
Ivinson Mansion will be handing out candy and offering $2 tours of the mansion.
When: 1-3 p.m.
Where: Ivinson Mansion
Cost: FREE/$2 tour optional

Premier Trunk-or-Treat
Premier Bone & Joint’s annual Halloween event. Participants can vote for their favorite “trunk!”
When: 4 p.m.

Halloween Hoedown
The 4th annual country trick-or-treat in the Aliquot Subdivision north of town. All are invited.
When: 2-4 p.m.
Where: Aliquot Subdivision; 5.5 miles north of Laramie on Hwy 30

Monday, Oct. 30

Safe Treat
Trick or treat, activities, storytelling, and other family fun in the Union, lower level of Washakie Dining Center, and other locations along Sorority/Fraternity Mall.
When: 4:30-7 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

Trick or Treat at Edgewood
Help residents at Spring Wind Assisted Living and Memory Care Community have a great Halloween, too, by sharing costumes and community with them while they hand out candy.
When: 1:30-4 p.m.
Where: Edgewood, 1072 N. 22nd St. 

Trick or Treat with Albany County
Impress the Courthouse staff and Planning Department with your costumes.
When: 3-5 p.m.
Where: Courthouse (525 Grand) & Planning Dept. (1002 S. Third)

Trunk or Treat
Children 15 and under enjoy the Trail of Treats beginning at Perkin's Restaurant & Bakery. Register your costume beforehand for information on prizes.
When: 3-6 p.m.

Trick or Treat Community Halloween Carnival
More than just candy: games, candy, and a spooktacular good time.
When: 4:30-6 p.m.

Creepy Shop and Safe Treat
After hours, for the kids: creepy and candy at Deviant Piercings.
When: 6 p.m.

Historic Wyoming Hotels

Wyoming's once wild west also incorporated a little luxury. Several fine hotels dotted the state, along trade routes and railroad lines. They have rich histories, and of course, ghost legends.
