Supporting Laramie youth is easy peasy lemon squeezy…and tasty. The lemonade stands of yesteryear, where independent young entrepreneurs sold cold cups for a quarter, have now been upgraded to include business plans, a workbook, budget spreadsheets, and philanthropy.

About Laramie's Annual Lemonade Day

The annual event began in 2019 with 22 stands and 48 participants across Gem City. Last year was the biggest year, with 72 young entrepreneurs and 36 lemonade stands. The Lemonade Day website explains the expanded vision:

“The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, volunteers, and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow.”

Who Is Lemonade Day For?

The target audience is students in first through sixth grade. Participants get a T-shirt for being a stand owner and a backpack with an included workbook that “teaches them the lessons of Lemonade Day, like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community.” Register your future entrepreneur ASAP!
