The Laramie Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a dog owner after a citizen was bitten near Washington Park.

According to Lt. Craig Lenhardt, the incident happened sometime between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, in the area of South 19th Street and East Custer Street.

Possible Schnauzer Mix

"The dog is described as a medium sized black and grey dog, possible Schnauzer mix," Lenhardt in a press release on Wednesday afternoon said.

Lenhardt says the victim also observed a male in his early teens chasing the dog.

"Locating the dog in question is important for rabies monitoring and vaccination verification purposes," he said.
