10 Events & Activities to Look Forward to in Laramie This Spring

Spring technically began on March 20 this year, with the arrival of the Spring Equinox.   The season lasts until the Summer Equinox, which falls on June 21 this year. Though Mother Nature always seems to get with the program a little late in Laramie, we know that soon enough, warmer weather and sunny skies are on the way.

Strolling Among the Flowers and Trees of Downtown Laramie

Downtown Laramie becomes a vibrantly colored, scenic walk when the flowers and trees begin to awaken from the chill of winter. It's the perfect place for a relaxing walk (or window shopping!) on a sunny Spring day.

The University of Wyoming Football Spring Game

Spring practice for the Pokes is already underway, but most practices are closed to the public. HOWEVER, War Memorial Stadium opens its doors to Pokes fans on April 29th this year for the annual Spring Game! Find out more info here.

The Snowy Range Scenic Byway usually opens in late May or early June, as warmer weather thaws away the last vestiges of winter. There's nothing more romantic than taking an evening drive through the stunning scenery.

Laramie Farmer's Market Gets Ready to Open

The Laramie Farmer's Market technically doesn't open until June 30th, but vendors start getting ready for the weekly market starting in late Spring. Farmers Market fever usually hits me around June 1! More info here.

Camping at Curt Gowdy

Camping season usually kicks off on May 1st, when most campgrounds in Curt Gowdy open for the season. It's almost time to haul out the tent and pack the s'mores supplies!
