Introducing ‘The Sound Of Music’ Movie Made Wyoming Style

I'll begin by saying, I've never seen the move 'The Sound Of Music'. I know, it's a classic and has meant so much to so many people. Not this fella.

If you're like me and haven't seen it either, here's a quick synopsis from Wikipedia. Spoiler Alert!

The Sound of Music is a 1965 American musical drama film produced and directed by Robert Wise from a screenplay written by Ernest Lehman, and starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, with Richard Haydn, Peggy Wood, Charmian Carr, and Eleanor Parker. The film is an adaptation of the 1959 stage musical.

Maria is a free-spirited young Austrian woman studying to become a nun at Nonnberg Abbey in Salzburg in 1938. Her youthful enthusiasm and lack of discipline cause some concern. Mother Abbess sends Maria to the villa of retired naval officer Captain Georg von Trapp to be governess to his seven children. Although the children misbehave at first, Maria responds with kindness and patience, and soon the children come to trust and respect her. They end up getting married and fleeing.

There seems to be more to it, but that is the basis of the movie.

What could they have done to make me, and other folks, watch it?

Add explosions, weapons, machine guns, skimpy outfits, destruction, a war hero, and made the film set in Wyoming, would've been a good start.

Not every Hollywood executive thinks like me, but they should.

There are some clever, talented and just as twisted people out there, and they're here to prove it.
