“Josh Allen Has Just Made NFL History” – New Touchdown Record

You love to see it, you really do….

Josh Allen played much more like himself against the New York Jets, looking more comfortable with the football than he has in weeks. 

And during the game, Buffalo Bills fans received some incredible news about our QB. 

After all, it is pretty great to hear that Josh Allen has broken a touchdown record that was previously held by Patrick Mahomes. 

After Ty Johnson took the football into the endzone, the CBS Broadcast shared the news that “Josh Allen has just made NFL history.” 

“The most total touchdowns in [the] first 6 seasons of a career,” the broadcaster said. 

Josh Allen was selected seventh overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, making the 2023-24 season his sixth year playing professional football. Since joining the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen has racked up 205 total touchdowns, passing Patrick Mahomes – who previously held the record with 204.

The third-highest total touchdowns in their first 6 seasons was Dan Marino, who was selected in the 1983 NFL Draft. 

Josh Allen broke a different record earlier in the same game (this one for the Buffalo Bills), when he threw the ball to James Cook for a 5-yard touchdown. 

With that scored touchdown, Josh Allen now has a touchdown in 19 consecutive games, which broke the previously held record of 18 by Jim Kelly. 

I’m sure Kelly doesn’t mind though…he shared a post on social media this week with an effort to uplift the spirits of Bills fans ahead of Week 11.
