UPDATE:

I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne is open both directions as of 5:52 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Interstate 80 westbound between Laramie and Cheyenne is closed due to winter weather.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation advises the roadway is projected to reopen within two hours as of 4:51 p.m.

The department says visibility is reduced on Highway 287 between the Colorado State Line and Laramie.
