Thanks to some recent strong play, the Team Wyoming Bantam American ice hockey squad is headed to Canada for the International Silver Stick Tournament in January.

The team placed second at the Rocky Mountain Regional Silver Stick tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend in Westminster, CO. They finished 5-1 in the Bantam B division with their only loss to Littleton, CO. Three of their victories came via shutout.

It has earned them an invite to Pelham, Ontario for this international tournament Jan. 5-8, 2017. Only qualifying teams from regional tournaments receive an invitation to compete internationally.
